We're so glad we found Megs and Tiny Terrapins after moving from another well known swimming school. Our nearly two year old now loves the water and swimming lessons are his favourite time of the week. Megs' lessons are all about inspiring confidence in the water for little ones and their parents and not about following a rigid curriculum or dunking them! She makes learning fun and engaging and it's been amazing to watch our little one develop with her guidance.

Our little boy LOVES his swim lessons with Meg! He already has so much confidence, it’s our favourite part of our week. Everyone in the team is so friendly and happy to help! We can’t wait to watch him grow and get even more confident!

I’ve been taking Ethan to Tiny Terrapins in Ottershaw for a term now and he absolutely loves it. We didn’t start swimming lessons until Ethan was 9 months as I was worried as he suffers with reflux and has a constant cough and cold. Meg was brilliant, reassured me throughout, always available to ask questions. Ethan loves Meg, constantly gravitates towards her in the class. It’s very baby led, ground work laid for babies to go underwater but there is never any pressure to go under and the amount of times is limited within a lesson so as to ensure your little one doesn’t get scared of the water in the future. I’ve already signed up for the September term and are looking forward to being back!

My sister and I go to the Monday class at Mathew Arnold with our babies. We love it and so do they.
The pool is nice and warm for the little ones, it’s a really friendly group too.
My little one started at 6 months, he has a smile on his face from start to finish and then sleeps all afternoon… result.
I think even at such a young age it is building his confidence in the water and eventually teaching him some life saving skills.
The ladies that run the class are lovely.
Would highly recommend to all.

My son and I really enjoy our sessions at the Staines pool. Although he is only a few months old, his confidence has been growing with every lesson which is wonderful to see. Megs, Sarah and Becca are so friendly and made us feel so welcome when we first met them. We are kept updated regularly on anything relating to our sessions and the team are always quick to respond to any questions. Thank you Megs and the team!

I’ve just booked for the third term with Tiny Terrapins for baby swimming lessons with my daughter. She absolutely loves it …there are songs and floating toys and other babies to socialise with. Sarah is our teacher , she is always super friendly and always smiling. I have done swimming lessons with other companies in the past for my older daughter and I would definitely recommend Tiny Terrapins. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and we look forward to going each week!

I can highly recommend Megs and the Tiny Terrapins swim school. The swimming lessons are excellent in teaching young children skills in a fun, unpressured way. Megs was so helpful in making sure the lessons worked for my son, who takes time to warm up to new people. Within five minutes he was off happily swimming with Megs and forgot I was there. The pool is small enough to not feel intimidating, and the whole business feels much more like a fun, family environment to learn while playing, rather than a pressured swimming lesson. I highly recommend!

Tiny Terrapins swim school has been great for us. This place truly has a small family environment, where every baby and every child is important. We have been feeling very supported and encouraged, and this was a total game changer for us as we switched from another swimming lesson provider.

Previously in another swim school, my daughter wouldn’t settle during the lessons, and I was thinking of giving up on swimming completely. I am glad I didn’t! We moved over to Tiny Terrapins, and now my daughter loves her swimming lessons! She sees friendly faces and now smiles back, splashes and has a lot of fun!
